San Romano Battle

Our club started in the last months to play more historical games. The last one is Lion Rampant.
It allows to play battle in all the medieval period. We started instead with the Italian Renaissance.

Perry Miniatures have an extremely good range of plastic and metal miniatures that can be used.
I started with the mounted Uomini d'Arme (Men at Arms).
The plastic kit is wonderful and full of components of Italian and German style armours.

My inspiration wat the Battle of San Romano from Paolo Uccello.
Thanks to the flexibility of the kit I was able to recreate the characters of the painting.
