Bretonnian Grail Altar
It is a great honour to declare finished one of my most beloved creations: the Grail War Altar.
It is a project started back in 1998. I think the very first idea to create it goes back to the pilgrim wagon in Perilous Quest 5th edition Bretonnian campaign expansion. It than gained more identity as I discovered the Bretonnian war altar from 3rd edition of Warhammer.
I had no idea what I wanted, I simply collected bits over and over to create a war altar for Bretonnia.
It was only clear to me, that it had to be ridden by a Grail Abbess and to carry an altar.
The dozens of bits I collected and put together during this 27 years amaze me though. I try to put below a comprehensive list of the components of this model.
I love this model, as it represent the ending point of a very, very log way. It started as I was a young collector of a new army and it ends as I am a mature player of a grown up collection. I am happy to add this model to my Bretonnians, I always wanted it and I worked hard to obtain it.
