Francesco Ferrucci

 I made a model for the Florentine hero Francesco Ferrucci, killed in the Battle of Gavinana trying to evade the Imperial army with the last reinforcements of the besieged Florentine republic. 

The miniature is a metal Mirliton light cavalrymen Commander. 

The bannerman bears the Ferrucci's colours. 

This model has been made to be on the cover of a local Gavinana booklet about the battle.
